About the role

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Placement Officer to drive student placement initiatives and strengthen our industry partnerships. The ideal candidate will play a key role in connecting students with career opportunities, coordinating recruitment activities, and building long-term relationships with hiring organizations. Help build and scale Gradious’ brand as the go-to partner for industry collaboration in tech upskilling.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Build and expand relationships with companies to create placements, internship opportunities for students, workshops, expert talks, and other collaborations.
  • Develop compelling presentations and proposals that communicate the value propositions of Gradious’ products and offerings to potential partners.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities to improve placement outcomes and expand the employer network.
  • Engage with recruiters and talent acquisition teams to understand hiring requirements and align student profiles accordingly.
  • Plan and manage placement drives, recruitment events, interview schedules, and employer engagement activities.
  • Work closely with internal academic and training teams to ensure students are well-prepared for placement opportunities and ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor placement progress, maintain recruitment records, and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Facilitate communication between students and recruiters throughout the hiring process.
  • Organize career-readiness sessions, including interview preparation, resume guidance, and professional development workshops.
  • Ensure a smooth and professional experience for both students and hiring partners during the recruitment process.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in placements, recruitment, or corporate relations
  • Good knowledge of hiring processes and recruitment cycles
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively 

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience in EdTech, academic institutions, training organizations, or campus recruitment operations.
  • Existing connections with recruiters, especially in IT and technology-driven companies, will be an added advantage.
